So much going on, where do we start?
Beer Hall and German Stage
Bigger and better in 2016, Langley Park will play host to the 2 largest big top beer halls seen at any Oktoberfest event across the country. The beer hall will seat over 6,000 Oktoberfest fanatics and provides a fantastic vantage point to eat, drink, hear and see everything that is Oktoberfest.
To replicate the traditional München festival, there will be a long list of German entertainers including a 20 piece brass band, yodellers, roving accordion players, pretzel fräuleins and a number of other German bands on and off stage.
Starting slow and building into the night, the main outdoor stage will feature top local bands throughout the day and the best DJs in town dropping beats late into the night. If history is anything to go by, watch this space as the sun sets on Oktoberfest in the Gardens.
Featuring nearly 30 local DJs across a variety of genres, this massive three-channel, 500 person silent disco will be a focal point for partygoers at Oktoberfest in the Gardens 2016!
Live & Local Stage
Returning for the first time since 2012, Oktoberfest in the Gardens will feature a live and local stage where up and coming local bands will battle it out for ultimate Oktoberfest glory. The talent we’re seeing this year is remarkable, so make sure you catch a glimpse.
Event MCs will be hosting a number of Oktoberfest themed on-stage games and competitions throughout the day. There will be prizes for Miss (and Mr) Oktoberfest, stein holdings and bratwurst eating champions and a number of other traditional Oktoberfest games. Make sure you dress up and get involved, it’s always a highlight of the day.
Oktoberfest in the Gardens covers all bases, from the outright ridiculous to incredibly talented we’ve got musicians, magicians, clowns, circus performers, mimes and many more performers roaming the grounds to keep you entertained all day long.
For the young at heart, we’re rolling in a sideshow alley for a bit of extra fun. Fancy some target practice, bumper cars or a gut wrenching ride? We’ve got something for everyone at Oktoberfest in the Gardens.
